Notice Regarding Changes to EU Customs Regulations for Low-Value Shipments (Effective July 1, 2026)

Thank you for your continued support of the hololive production OFFICIAL SHOP (hereinafter referred to as "our Shop").

For orders requiring international shipping, Global-e Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Global-e") acts as the Merchant of Record and delivers products to our customers.
We would like to inform you of upcoming changes to customs regulations for orders shipped to EU member states, effective July 1, 2026.

■ Overview of the New Customs Regulations

A new customs duty framework for low-value shipments (de minimis) will take effect across the EU on July 1, 2026, as follows:

- A new fixed customs fee will apply to shipments valued under €150.
- A fee of €3 (plus VAT) will be charged per unique HS code (*) included in the parcel.
- The existing schemes currently in place in France and Romania will transition to a unified EU-wide system.
- There are no changes to customs procedures for shipments valued at €150 or more.

* HS code is an internationally standardized numerical method of classifying traded products by type/category. If a single parcel contains multiple types of items (such as acrylic stands, button badges, and t-shirts combined), the €3 fee will apply to each unique product category included in that shipment.

■ Important Notice Regarding Existing Orders

Please note that, under EU rules, whether the new regulations apply to a given order is determined by the date the shipment clears customs. Therefore, even for orders already placed, the new fee may apply if customs clearance takes place on or after the effective date. In such cases, the carrier (e.g., DHL) may contact you directly to collect payment upon delivery.
If customs clearance takes place on or after the effective date, the new fee based on the new regulations will be incurred, and the carrier (e.g., DHL) may contact you directly to collect payment upon delivery of your order. We kindly ask for your prior understanding.

We will continue to provide updates on this page as necessary.

This change results from EU trade policy and is beyond the control of our Shop and Global-e. We appreciate your understanding.
