Notice of Introduction of Identity authentication service “3D Secure 2.0” for credit card payment

In order to provide our customers with a safer and more secure shopping experience, we have decided to introduce the “Identity authentication service (3D Secure 2.0)” for credit card payments.
■Scheduled date of introduction
The service is scheduled to be introduced by the end of March 2025.
■Notice
To make a payment using 3D Secure, you will need to register for the authentication service at your credit card company's website in advance.
(The method of registration for the authentication service and identification authentication differs depending on the credit card company. Please check the website of your credit card company for details.)
If you have already registered for the authentication service with your credit card company, there is no need to do so.
Credit cards that do not support the “Identity authentication service 3D Secure 2.0” will not be able to be used for payment on this site.
(Please contact your card issuer to check if your card is compatible with 3D Secure.)
■About Identity authentication service 3D Secure 2.0
3D Secure 2.0 is a service to make credit card payments more secure on the Internet.
3D Secure 2.0 is a risk-based authentication service based on the credit card user's payment information.
In the case of 3D Secure 2.0, authentication is basically completed without additional authentication.
Additional authentication, such as a one-time password, is required for transactions that are considered high-risk.
