We have received a notification from Global-e, the seller for international shipments, regarding a change in additional customs duties.

For orders containing products made in China and processed after 3:00 a.m. (EST) on May 13, the additional customs duty rate at the time of payment has been changed from 145% to 30%.

*The tax exemption threshold remains at 0 USD.
*The reduced rate will be in effect for 90 days starting from May 14.

We will continue to provide updates as necessary.

Thank you for your continued patronage of the hololive production OFFICIAL SHOP (hereinafter referred to as "our Shop").

For orders requiring shipment outside of Japan, Global-e Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Global-e") serves as the seller to deliver products to customers.

Due to changes in the United States (hereinafter referred to as "U.S.") trade policies, the customs duty system for orders shipping to the U.S. will be changing as outlined below.

Overview of Customs System Changes

Products Originating from China

After April 9, 2025

Additional tariffs on products exceeding the $800 duty-free threshold will increase up to 125%.

After April 11, 2025

Additional tariffs have been increased to 145%.

After May 2, 2025

The $800 duty-free exemption will end. Orders containing products from multiple countries of origin will not qualify for the exemption if any product originates from China.

Orders exceeding $2,500 will be subject to MPF (Merchandise Processing Fee). The MPF rate is 0.3464% of the product price, with a minimum of $32.71 per transaction.

Products Not Originating from China

After April 9, 2025

Tariffs on products exceeding the $800 duty-free threshold will increase by 10%.

After July 14, 2025

Tariffs on products exceeding the $800 duty-free threshold will increase to rates determined by country of origin.

*For orders that do not contain products from China, the $800 duty-free threshold remains unchanged.

These system changes will be determined based on when the products pass through customs. Therefore, additional duties may apply to already paid orders depending on the date they clear customs.

If additional duties are incurred, the delivery carrier (DHL and others) may request payment of these duties upon delivery. We appreciate your understanding in advance.

As U.S. trade policies remain fluid, we will provide updates as necessary.
